Art in the Air is a digital art initiative that utilizes the PECO Crown Lights system to display digital artwork and animation allowing thousands of viewers to experience these works in the night sky over Philadelphia. Every two months, three digital artworks are selected for an Art in the Air exhibit to be displayed on the Crown Lights tower. The September re-launch of the 2012 Art in the Air series expands from a regional program and opens the call for submissions to both national and international artists. The Submission Deadline is August 21, 2012.
